Julian Johnson is a highly accomplished civil rights trial attorney dedicated to advocating for victims of police brutality and misconduct. With extensive experience, Julian has represented dozens of clients in cases involving wrongful death, wrongful conviction, malicious prosecution, excessive force, police shootings, and other civil rights violations. Through his relentless advocacy, he has helped his clients secure millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts. Julian also serves as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he shares his expertise with the next generation of legal professionals.
Julian began his legal career as a public defender in Boston, Massachusetts, where he honed his skills defending those in need. He later returned to his hometown of Chicago, joining the City of Chicago Law Department. There, he handled complex and high-profile civil rights litigation and became one of the youngest attorneys ever promoted to Senior Counsel in the department’s history.
