Julie currently serves as Vice President of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), where she has served for many years on the Executive Committee and the Board of Governors. She was the chair of theProducts LiabilitySection and the Womens Caucus, and in 2012 she founded and chaired the Voter Protection Action Committee, which works across the nation to protect the rights of American citizens to vote. AAJ awarded Julie its prestigious Howard Twiggs Award for professionalism in 2013, its Marie Lambert Award for exemplary leadership to the profession, to her community, to AAJ, and to the Women Trial Lawyers Caucus and its Joe Tonahill Award for legal excellence, given in recognition of outstanding and dedicated service to consumers and the trial bar.
