Justin Schneider is a seasoned trial attorney with a distinguished career spanning both public service and private practice. He began his legal journey in 2014 at a prestigious Miami law firm, where he worked on complex construction defect and contract litigation. His commitment to public service led him to the Florida House of Representatives, where he worked on legislative initiatives for District 87.
Before transitioning to civil litigation, he served as a felony prosecutor at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he first-chaired more than 30 trials and advocated for thousands of victims. He handled high-stakes felony cases, including 1st degree felonies and those punishable by life-imprisonment, including civil fatalities, and juvenile matters.
Prior to joining Schlesinger Law, Mr. Schneider worked at a high-volume plaintiff’s firm, where he gained extensive experience handling a wide range of personal injury cases. Mr. Schneider is currently an attorney at Schlesinger Law, where he focuses on high-value personal injury and wrongful death cases, including trucking accidents, traumatic brain injuries, and catastrophic injury claims. He is admitted to practice in Florida State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where he was awarded a scholarship to study at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, focusing on comparative legal contracts and English legal history. During law school, he served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable J. Lawrence Johnston at the Division of Administrative Hearings, handling employment and discrimination claims. He was also a standout competitor on the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Mock Trial Team, leading his team to regionals in the prestigious Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Deeply committed to his profession and community, Mr. Schneider served on the Board of Directors for the Historic Stranahan House Museum, is a former Young Leaders Board Member for the Palm Beach County Justice Association and is a member of Leadership Broward Class of 41. He is also an active member of the Palm Beach Bar Association, the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Stephen R. Booher Inn of Court.
