
Born and raised in the City of Central, LA (East Baton Rouge Parish), Kacia Cook has dedicated her career to advocating for individuals harmed by defective products and pharmaceuticals. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond in 2008 before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2013.
Before law school, Cook built a strong legal foundation with 15 years of experience as a paralegal at a defense firm. After passing the bar, she joined Murphy Law Firm, where she has been a committed advocate for justice for the past 12 years. As a practicing attorney for the last two years, she specializes in mass tort litigation, product liability, defective pharmaceutical drugs and devices, class actions, and complex litigation.
A member of the Top 100 National Trial Lawyers Association, Cook approaches every case with tenacity and a deep commitment to her clients.
When not fighting for justice, Cook enjoys home improvement and DIY projects, channeling her creativity into transforming spaces. She lives by the motto:
