A native of Terre Haute, Indiana, Katie Fleschner McMullen studied biology and business at Hanover College. As an undergraduate tennis player, she was named Freshman of the Year, Most Valuable Player, and All-Conference First Team by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. In 2009, Katie graduated cum laude.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. During law school, Katie was a teacher’s assistant for an intellectual property perspectives writing course. She also served as the Assistant Senior Notes Editor for the Michigan State Law Review and the Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society. She graduated magna cum laude in 2014.
Before practicing law, Katie held several positions at Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin. She was first hired as a personal injury case assistant in 2005 before becoming receptionist in 2006. From 2009-2011, Katie worked as a Social Security Disability case analyst and brief writer. In 2013, she served as a mass tort case analyst for the firm.
Since joining the firm as an attorney in 2014, she focuses on the area of personal injury law. Katie is a member of the Terre Haute Bar Association.
When she isn’t helping clients, Katie enjoys running, walking her dog, and spending quality time with her friends and family
