Denver,
 CO

When I started my legal career, I knew I wanted to do more than practice law—I wanted to help people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Criminal charges, no matter how big or small, can feel overwhelming. But with the right guidance and a clear strategy, they don’t have to define your future.

I’ve been defending clients throughout Colorado since I graduated from the University of Denver School of Law in 2005. Before that, I earned my degree in economics from Wake Forest University, which gave me a strong foundation for understanding how legal issues can ripple into every part of a person’s life—financially, professionally, and personally.

I’m proud to be a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Early in my career, I worked at a large firm in the Denver area, where I focused on cases involving domestic violence, sex crimes, violent offenses, and restraining orders.

Real Relationships. Real Results.

Over the years, I’ve represented clients in courtrooms across Colorado, and I’ve built strong working relationships with local judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement. These relationships can make a real difference when it comes to negotiating outcomes or navigating complex situations within the criminal justice system.

Whether we’re dealing with a felony, a misdemeanor, or a traffic-related matter, I take every case seriously. I don’t cut corners, and I don’t treat anyone like a number. If you’re trusting me with your defense, I’m going to show up fully prepared and ready to fight for your best possible outcome.

What You Can Expect From Me

There are certain qualities you should always look for in a criminal defense attorney—especially in Colorado, where laws can be strict and procedures are highly specific. Here’s what I bring to the table:

  • Experience with a broad range of criminal charges, including DUI, assault, drug crimes, theft, domestic violence, and more
  • A strategic and personalized approach to defense—there’s no one-size-fits-all playbook here
  • The determination to dig deep, explore every possible defense angle, and find the best course of action
  • A strong track record of success, whether through pre-trial negotiation or litigation in court
  • Clear, honest communication—I make sure you understand your options and stay informed from day one

I’m also not afraid to get creative. If there’s a way to challenge a procedural mistake, question the evidence, or negotiate a better outcome, I’ll find it. My goal is to help you walk away from this experience in the strongest position possible.

What I Love About What I Do

For me, the courtroom is where I’m most in my element. I enjoy the challenge of standing up and advocating for someone who feels like the system is against them. I get to meet new people every day, and more importantly, I get to help people every day. That’s what keeps me motivated.

Criminal charges don’t just affect your record—they affect your reputation, your relationships, your ability to move forward. That’s why I take the time to understand your story, answer your questions, and make sure you know what’s going on at every step of the process. I’m here to advise you, protect your rights, and give you a path forward, not just a list of legal terms.

Let’s Talk About Your Case

If you’ve been charged with a crime in Colorado, don’t wait to get legal advice. Even so-called “petty” offenses can carry long-term consequences—fines, background checks, driver’s license suspensions, or barriers to employment and housing.

During your free consultation, I’ll take the time to learn about your situation, explain how the process works, and give you my honest opinion on how we can move forward. There’s no pressure and no obligation—just a conversation about your options and how I can help.

When I’m not in the courtroom, you’ll usually find me outside spending time with my kids or getting a round of golf in when I can. But when I’m on the job, I’m all in—focused on your case, your rights, and your future.

Reach out today to schedule your consultation. Let’s start working on your defense together.
