Kira is a former journalist turned civil rights attorney who has been dedicated to activism since as early as she can remember. Now, she hones her unwavering pursuit of justice and tenacity to provide her clients with restorative and successful results. She acutely understands how stressful the legal process can be and makes it a priority to provide her clients with a safe space.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Kira worked as a writer, producer and editor at The Huffington Post in New York City and ThinkProgress in Washington D.C. covering news, politics, social justice and LGBTQ equality. While in law school, she immersed herself in social justice, working at the Innocence Project and the National Center for Youth Law. As an undergraduate student at USC, she worked on the Academy Award-nominated documentary, “The Inivisble War,” which revealed the epidemic of sexual assault within the US military. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she is an outspoken advocate for the queer community.
Kira is based in Los Angeles. She is an avid runner and loves exploring the outdoors with her dog Hilo.
