You will find I am passionate about practicing law. I am not satisfied unless the work I do is done at the highest level--no matter what or who the case involves.
I grew up in a small town in Michigan. After graduating high school in 1994 I served four years active duty in the Marine Corps, during which time the Marines honored me with the distinction of "Marine of the Year" at my duty station for 1995.
After I was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1998, I enrolled at Northern Michigan University, where I took an accelerated class load and graduated Magna Cum Laude in three years with a Major in the Health Sciences and a Minor in Philosophy.
I then attended Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts
and earned a Juris Doctorate in May 2004. I moved to Texas, sat for the Bar exam, and was licensed in November 2004.
I worked in the litigation section of a large plaintiff's law firm, leaving in 2009 to open the Law Offices of Larry M. Wasmiller. In 2010 my wife, Maribel Cordova Wasmiller, joined me as a partner to form our current firm, Wasmiller Cordova, Attorneys at Law.
I have handled a variety of civil litigation matters and have led several civil trials as first chair. I am a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the State Bar of Texas,, including the Litigation Section.
