Lauren Biloski is a 2000 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, a 2003 graduate from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and obtained her J.D. degree in 2006 from Indiana University.

Lauren returned to East Tennessee to practice in East Tennessee and provide assistance to a community that allowed her to flourish.

During Lauren's third year of law school, she was awarded one of three internships and later obtained a position of Assistant Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office. Lauren represented victims in all aspects of criminal proceedings, including probable cause hearings, plea negotiations, and conducted both bench and jury trials. She argued in felony and misdemeanor courts, helped negotiate various plea bargains, and conducted extensive research on various crimes and evidentiary problems.

In 2006, Lauren was admitted to practice law in Indiana and Tennessee after successfully taking and passing two bar exams in July.

Lauren's passion for the law developed with her internship with Child Advocates, Inc. and the Hamilton County Prosecutor's office. After discovering how many battles individuals face in their daily lives. Lauren still devotes countless hours to helping those in need.

Lauren returned back to Oak Ridge in October of 2006 and has loved having an active local practice. In 2012, Lauren joined and partnered with Michael Ritter to form the an association, The Law Offices of Ritter, Biloski, Miller & Edwards in Oak Ridge. Since 2012, Lauren has handled a wide variety of cases but still focused her practice on juvenile law, family law, and criminal defense.

Since returning to Tennessee in 2006, Lauren has been involved and volunteered with numerous organizations. Lauren has worked with Girls, Inc. in Oak Ridge,volunteered with C.A.S.A. - Court Appointed Special Advocates, and the League of Women Voters of Oak Ridge. Lauren is a member of the Anderson County Bar Association, Knox County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and American Bar Association.

Lauren was an active member of the Junior League in Knoxville and has counseled individuals who are victims of domestic violence and provided countless hours of pro bono assistance to women and men attempting to break free of abusive relationships.

Lauren has a strong passion for animal welfare and has been actively involved with the Shelter Animals Rescue Group (S.A.R.G.) and adopted Buster Brown, her Puggle, from the organizationin 2009. Lauren is the legal representative for Westie Rescue of Tennessee and adopted Madison, her Westie, from them in 2007. Lauren has also assisted the Humane Society of Oak Ridge and Anderson County with legal issues and volunteered her time. Lauren started the Adoptable Animals at the Oak Ridge Shelter Facebook page in the spring of 2013 to encourage adoptions from the local shelter. Lauren is proud to serve on the Anderson County Animal Welfare Task Force and has assisted with the opening of the new Animal Holding Facility.

Lauren has also served on city boards in Oak Ridge. Lauren was appointed by the Oak Ridge City Counsel to serve as a member of the City of Oak Ridge Municipal Planning Commission in 2009. During her tenure at the University of Tennessee, Lauren served on the Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Outdoor Pool advisory board and is a proud former employee of the City of Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department.

Lauren is a member of St. Mary's Church in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
