He began his career with Goldberg, Persky, and White PC, first as a trial paralegal and then as an attorney, handling the footwork for more than 3,200 GM Foundry worker asbestos cases in Saginaw, Michigan in the earliest years of his career.
Lee returned to Pittsburgh in 1999 and immediately assumed responsibility for an abundance of asbestos-related cases in Beaver County, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He notes that some of his saddest moments were experienced while deposing asbestos cancer victims who were literally in the last days of their life, victims of on-the-job exposure that could have been avoided. His experience with these hard-working individuals made him a steadfast advocate for the rights of mesothelioma sufferers.
Lee continued serving mesothelioma clients when he opened his own law offices in 2013, determined to provide the personal service that only a small firm can offer. In addition, Lee has become the "local expert" on mesothelioma and asbestos cases, intimately familiar with area corporations whose negligent practices have affected the lives of hundreds of area tradesmen and women. He also adds to his 25 years of legal experience the understanding that comes with his personal struggles of being a caretaker for family members with cancer.
A graduate of the University of Michigan (1988) and the Cooley School of Law at Western Michigan University (1996), Lee is admitted to Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Michigan Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.
