Leslie Allred, a Managing Partner at O’Dekirk, Allred & Associates, LLC, is an experienced and dedicated litigator with a tireless work ethic and a proven track record.
Leslie graduated from the University of Illinois in 1999 with a degree in Speech Communications and Advertising. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree she worked for several years in professional sports for the Philadelphia Flyers and Peoria Rivermen, performing marketing and community relations duties. In 2008, she fulfilled her dream of being an attorney and earned her J.D. from the Widener University School of Law where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society, served as the Society’s Vice-President, and was named the Best Overall Competitor in the Society’s New Member Competition. Leslie was also President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, a member of the Widener Trial Team, was awarded with the Widener University School of Law Service Award, and was recognized by her professors as the Most Promising Litigator in her graduating class. During her time at Widener, she also served as an editor on many constitutional law articles written by the late constitutional law scholar, Robert P. Lipkin.
In taking a post-graduate position as an Assistant District Attorney for Chester County, Pennsylvania, Leslie handled the prosecution of a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor cases for a course of four years. These cases included criminal attempt homicide, rape, robbery, burglary, drug trafficking, aggravated and simple assault, DUI, and theft crimes. While undertaking these matters, Leslie was engaged in a countless amount of jury and bench trials, preliminary hearings, and plea negotiations. She also served simultaneously as an Intern Supervisor for her department.
After her time at the District Attorney’s Office, Leslie returned to her Will County roots and Wilmington, Illinois where she was born and raised. She soon began working with O’Dekirk, Allred & Associates, LLC, where she quickly proved her worth as a seasoned litigator. Leslie now holds the position of a Managing Partner for the firm. Additionally, Leslie is an active Board Member with the Wilmington Foundation for Excellence. In consideration of these outstanding achievements, Leslie was named the Joliet Area Young Professional of the Year in 2016.
Leslie is married to her childhood sweetheart, Russell, with whom she has a beautiful baby girl, Lucy Jane. When time permits, Leslie, Russell, and Lucy enjoy weekend vacations and spending quality time with their families and close friends.
