Luke represents individuals and small businesses in complex litigation. Luke has successfully litigated cases in State and Federal cases throughout the country. He is currently representing individuals and small business clients relating to personal injury, breach of contractual agreements, deceptive trade practices, and shareholder disputes. Luke litigates class actions involving deceptive trade practices, breach of contract and unjust enrichment, and mass torts on behalf of individuals injured by medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Lastly, Luke has had extensive experience and success in litigating personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of plaintiffs.
Luke has represented and successfully settled countless cases for individuals personally injured by the negligent conduct of others. He has litigated and settled medical malpractice claims in arbitration on behalf of an elderly client against a nursing home and rehabilitative facility. He has secured jury verdicts on behalf of contractors relating to the breach of construction contracts. He currently serves as lead counsel in class action cases throughout Alabama against rural electric cooperatives regarding their failure to return excess revenues to members of the cooperatives under Alabama law. Luke has also tried cases on behalf of injured railroad workers pursing claims under the Federal Employers' Liability Act ("FELA").
Since graduating from the University of Alabama, Luke has experienced success in nearly every area of the law. From successfully litigating criminal cases to complex claims in federal court, his goal is to attain the best result for his client. All these experiences have molded Luke into the attorney he is and have given him the confidence and perspective to handle difficult problems.
In his time away from the office, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, Haley, and daughter, Ann.
