Madison Cogan joined Malman Law in 2021 as an Associate Attorney. Madison received her J.D. from UIC John Marshall Law school in 2020 and her B.A. from Indiana University- Bloomington in 2016.
She began her legal career as an extern for The Honorable Justice Terrence J. Lavin at the Illinois Appellate Court. Following her externship, Madison was a law clerk at two prominent plaintiffs firms in downtown Chicago. While in law school, Madison was on the board of UIC John Marshall’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy program, where she competed in trial and ADR competitions throughout the country. A loyal alumna, she continues to coach law student teams. Madison also served as a Teaching Assistant for Torts.
A native of the Chicagoland area, Madison is proud to fight for the residents of her home state and give back to her community. Outside of work, Madison enjoys spending time with her dog, Herbert Hoosier, rooting for the Indiana Hoosiers and the Chicago Blackhawks, and trying all of the great restaurants that Chicago has to offer.
