
Magdalena B. Metelska is the Managing Attorney at Metelska Law, P.L.L.C. Ms. Metelska received her Juris Doctor in 2010 from Mitchell Hamline (formerly Hamline University) School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Ms. Metelska also received her Bachelors of Arts from Hamline University in 2007 in Global Studies.
Ms. Metelska has over 14 years of experience in working with immigration law. She specializes in removal defense. She defends clients who are in removal proceedings and charged with immigration violations such as unlawful presence, crimes involving moral turpitude, aggravated felonies and other violations. She handles a wide variety of immigration cases including cancellation of removal, asylum, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, U visas, T visas, and VAWA. Ms. Metelska also defends clients in criminal matters such as DWI and domestic violence.
Ms. Metelska was named Lawyer of the Year 2022. Ms. Metelska was recognized for her outstanding accomplishments in the field of Immigration Law. Prior to establishing her own law practice, Ms. Metelska worked as an immigration attorney at a law office in St. Paul and Brooklyn Park. Before she became an attorney, she also worked as a law clerk at another firm in Minneapolis.
