Mr. Willick has over 25 years of experience running his own firm and working at several prestigious firms in Los Angeles, and delivers results for his clients in all phases of the litigation process.
Marc’s trial work includes a $12-million verdict for a 65-year-old Navy veteran diagnosed with mesothelioma decades after working in engine rooms aboard ship, a $9.9-million verdict for a 74-year-old stillman and rigger exposed to asbestos at a Los Angeles oil refinery, and a nearly $1.8 million verdict for a 62-year-old Navy veteran exposed to asbestos as a welder and pipefitter. Outside of asbestos litigation, he successfully defended an administrative trial against the pharmacy license of an African American pharmacist incorrectly blamed for opiate drug diversion, defended second amendment rights unexpectedly infringed upon after an emergency hospitalization, and prosecuted automobile accident cases at trial.
In 2008, Marc was named a “Southern California Rising Star” of the legal profession by Super Lawyers.
Mr. Willick is admitted to practice law in California in state and federal court. He graduated Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1994 with a juris doctor degree. After graduation, he volunteered over 100 hours as an over-the-phone dispute mediator at the Loyola Law School Center for Conflict Resolution. He also holds a 1991 bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of California at San Diego.
Marc was an NCAA swimmer at UCSD, and an All-American in high school at the Harvard School (now Harvard-Westlake). He stays connected to the water through masters and open water swimming, and as a Los Angeles County Recurrent Ocean Lifeguard keeping swimmers and surfers safe along local beaches.
