
Mathew Jehl practices in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home neglect and abuse, personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, trust litigation, and white collar criminal defense.
He has successfully tried multiple jury and bench trials across Tennessee in both state and federal court. He has taken and defended hundreds of depositions. And he has briefed and argued appeals before the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
A native Memphian, Mathew graduated from Rhodes College with honors. He attended and graduated with honors from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Prior to joining Burch, Porter & Johnson, Mathew served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Bernice B. Donald, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
