Merrida Coxwell, Manager of Coxwell & Associates, PLLC, began practicing October 1980. In his early days he had a general practice with an emphasis on auto accidents and criminal defense. He served as an ad hoc public defender, representing approximately 26 death penalty cases. Fourteen of those cases went to trial. In the late 1990s larger personal injury and mass torts took dominance in the firm. Currently, Coxwell & Associates handles personal injury, private prison injury litigation, limited civil rights, and criminal defense.Â
