Michael F. Aguilar is a born and raised Texan. Following graduation from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, Michael eventually settled in San Antonio and attended St. Mary’s University School of Law. Michael decided to settle in San Antonio after developing a love for the city. After completing law school and becoming licensed, Michael decided to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) with the University of Oklahoma in their online program.
During his time in law school, Michael worked as a law clerk for an insurance and injury defense firm and remained with that firm as an attorney. During the seven years Michael spent with that firm, he developed a deep understanding for the way in which insurance companies evaluate injury cases and he personally saw how insurance companies would often undervalue the claims of injured persons.
Michael plans to use what he learned to fight for the rights of injured Texans and to work hard to ensure they receive what is fair. “As I have seen with the Gamez family, I was raised to always work hard and to fight for what is right,” Michael said. “I plan to bring that same mentality to my work with the Gamez Law Firm.”
In his spare time, Michael enjoys doing DIY home projects with his husband Jonathan, a born and raised San Antonian, and tirelessly rooting for the San Antonio Spurs.
