Michael is a Partner in the firm. He was born and raised in Miami-Dade. He started working at The Alvarez Law firm as a clerk after graduating from Florida State University, where he attained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in English and Criminal Justice. Michael observed firsthand all the effort and hard work that goes into being a trial lawyer. He was moved to see how lawyers can improve the quality of life for injured plaintiffs. Michael decided to work full-time as a law clerk at the firm while attending evening classes at Florida International University College of Law. He enjoys working in the Courtroom. He served as lead counsel in several trials, including fighting against tobacco companies. He’s tried cases all over the country, not only Florida, including Oregon, Illinois, New Mexico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Nevada and Hawaii. Michael handles personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and pharmaceutical litigation cases.
Michael is fluent in Spanish. When not in the office he spends his time with family. They enjoy hiking, bike riding, and anything outdoors.
