For years, Michael Flanagan has handled serious personal injury and wrongful death cases in Miami, Florida against some of the largest companies in the world. At age twenty-nine, Michael became a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Top Trial Lawyers in America. By the age of thirty, Mr. Flanagan had the distinction of obtaining a multi-million dollar settlement in an individual personal injury lawsuit. It is believed that he is one of the youngest lawyers in the country to have obtained a multi-million dollar settlement for a single event personal injury case as lead counsel. The following year, Mr. Flanagan obtained another, larger, mutli-million dollar settlement: $5.2 Million. In the past fifteen months alone, Mr. Flanagan has obtained nearly $10 Million for his clients.

Mr. Flanagan has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, a distinction awarded to less than 2.5% of lawyers in the United States. Moreover, in 2014 Mr. Flanagan was inducted into the Daily Business Review Florida Verdicts Hall of Hame for his work with Goldberg & Rosen, P.A. in obtaining a $35,000,000.00 verdict in a wrongful death case.

Michael has successfully litigated personal injury lawsuits for passengers and crew members against many major cruise lines including Carnival Corporation, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., and Celebrity Cruise Lines. Additionally, Mr. Flanagan was recently appointed to the Florida Bar Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee.

Michael was born and raised in New York. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honors and Leadership Society.

Michael graduated from the University of Miami School of Law where he was nominated to serve as Attorney General of the Student Bar Association for two consecutive years and was elected to serve as Clerk of the University of Miami School of Law chapter of the Phi Delta Phi International Honors and Leadership Fraternity. Moreover, Flanagan was selected by the faculty and administration as a recipient of the prestigious, Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities Award.

At the University of Miami School of Law, Michael also earned the Dean's Certificate for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Alternative Dispute Resolution and earned Honors in Maritime Personal Injury Law. Michael has also worked with the Law Offices of the Public Defender for the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida representing children facing life in prison without the possibility of parole.
