Meet Michael "Mickey" McNamara, a seasoned trial attorney specializing in criminal and civil cases. Born and raised in Savannah, Mickey's family roots in Chatham County date back to the 1800s, giving him unparalleled insight into the local judicial landscape.
Education and Early Career
Mickey's educational background is as impressive as his legal career. A proud alumnus of Benedictine Military School, he earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and tutored student-athletes in advanced Criminology courses. Mickey then received his law degree from Mercer University's School of Law. During law school, he excelled as a Moot Court Honor Board member and gained invaluable experience clerking for Chief Judge Howard Z. Simms of Bibb County Superior Court.
Professional Journey
Since completing his education, Mickey has been a dedicated practitioner in Savannah. He initially defended individuals, businesses, and insurance companies in civil matters before focusing on representing personal injury victims and defending those accused of crimes. His career is decorated with notable achievements, including:
Negotiating settlements ranging from modest amounts to six-figure sums in personal injury cases.
Securing dismissals in both State and Federal Courts.
Achieving not-guilty verdicts in jury trials.
No matter the size of your case or the severity of your charges, Mickey is committed to fighting vigorously on your behalf to achieve the best possible outcome.
Beyond the Courtroom
When he's not practicing law, Mickey enjoys quality time with his wife, Brittany McNamara (the best hairstylist in town), their two dogs, Maddox and Murphie, and their two cats, Arya and Ahsoka. He is an active St. James Catholic Church member and contributes to the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee.
