Brooke Eaves Wright was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and served as Miss Myrtle Beach 2008, 2010, and 2012. Brooke graduated from Clemson University, where she received a B.S. in Marketing and a Minor in Legal Studies in 2011. Thereafter, Brooke received her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2014.
During law school, Brooke was a member of the Moot Court Bar and was one of eight students named to the Order of the Barristers in 2012. Brooke competed on the National Competition Team and was one of three Moot Court Bar members selected to represent the USC School of Law in the National Moot Court Competition sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers. Brooke was a Top Four Finalist in the Kate Bockman Memorial 2L Moot Court Competition, in which she argued at the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Brooke served as the Associate Justice of Public Relations & Alumni for the Moot Court Bar. Brooke was an Editorial Staff Member of the Journal of Law & Education and received the Best Spader Award for the January 2012 and July 2013 issues of the Journal.
As a Myrtle Beach native, Brooke has always been actively involved in the Myrtle Beach community. Brooke established the Backpack Buddies program in 14 Horry County Schools to provide meals for over 2,100 food insecure children on the weekends. Brooke was recognized with the Presidential Service Award and the Nancy Moore Thurmond Community Service Scholarship for her efforts with the Backpack Buddies program. In addition, Brooke received the Sun News Community Leadership Scholarship for her dedication to community service in the Myrtle Beach community. Brooke is very passionate about community service and she is dedicated to seeking justice for injured individuals and their families.
