Attorney Rob Woodward is an associate at Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC. Rob's practice primarily focuses on helping individuals and families impacted by asbestos-related diseases, like mesothelioma.

A veteran of over 100 cases, Rob represents clients from across the country in all stages of the asbestos litigation process. He has successfully secured millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on their behalf.

"My clients at the firm are hardworking individuals who are often in a battle for their lives. Many have surrounded themselves with a great support system of friends, family and medical staff," he said.

Rob believes the firm is another member of his clients' support staff. As a mesothelioma attorney, he supports them by prosecuting cases against the corporations who harmed his clients and securing the justice they deserve.

Before joining the firm, Rob worked for the Valparaiso University Criminal Clinic. While in law school, Rob performed pro bono work for the Orleans Parish Public Defenders Office in New Orleans. In addition, Rob was a counselor for St. Louis ARC where he provided one-on-one care for people with developmental disabilities.

Rob graduated from Valparaiso University's School of Law. Rob graduated summa cum laude from Illinois College with a B.A. in management & organizational leadership.

Rob is admitted to the Missouri and Illinois Bar. He belongs to the American Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He formerly served as a Local Democrat Precinct Committee member. He also volunteers as a coach for Join Hands East St. Louis, an organization serving underprivileged children and their families.

"I care about helping people who worked hard all their lives," Rob said. "Many of my family members worked blue-collar jobs and belonged to unions. I became an attorney because I want to give people like them a voice in the legal system and help make a difference in their lives."
