Ronnie Wilkins is a United States Army combat veteran and spent five years serving as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. Ronnie gained his interest in criminal law while deployed to Afghanistan, where he assisted in the prosecution of individuals by collecting evidence from improvised explosive devices.
After leaving the Army, Ronnie went to Texas State University to study criminal justice. Ronnie graduated from Texas State University, Summa Cum Laude, in 2019. He then went to Saint Mary’s University School of Law where he pursued his Juris Doctor Degree.
While attending Saint Mary’s University School of Law, Ronnie had the honor of being a staff writer for the Saint Mary’s Law Journal. Ronnie also spent a year serving as a student defense attorney where he had the pleasure of representing indigent clients.
During his time in law school, Ronnie started clerking for Cynthia Orr and Gerry Goldstein. While clerking at Goldstein & Orr, Ronnie assisted on multiple complex federal and state criminal cases, including some appeal and post-conviction work. Ronnie also recently assisted Goldstein & Orr with exonerating a falsely accused professor and former law school dean in a Title IX hearing. After passing the bar exam, Ronnie began working for Goldstein and Orr as an associate attorney.
