
Ryan M. McCarthy oversees Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel’s Contingency Business Litigation Division, joining the West Palm Beach office with more than 12 years of litigation experience in federal, state, and county courts.
Licensed to practice in Florida and Massachusetts, Ryan has substantial experience delivering favorable outcomes for clients in hearings, trials, mediations, appeals, and arbitrations.
Known as a thorough and relentless litigator, Ryan has been praised for his diplomatic and strategic approaches to resolving matters pre-suit. His client-centric philosophy ensures that matters are evaluated in a unique fashion with the goal of expeditiously getting to closure with the best possible result for the client.
Over the years, he has represented and counseled individuals, medical providers, insurance companies, corporations, cruise lines, financial institutions, and athletes, giving him insight into the unique legal challenges each client faces and the strategies needed to effectively resolve disputes across a variety of industries.
Ryan will also focus his practice on representing individuals and families who have suffered serious personal injury.
Born in Miami, Ryan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and a Master’s Degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. During law school, he interned for Judge Carole Y. Taylor of the Fourth District Court of Appeal, as well as with the Florida Panthers.
When he is not working, Ryan enjoys spending time with family, reading, and sports. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Wellington Historical Society and is actively involved with the University of Florida and the University of Miami School of Law.
