Ryan Shaffer is a partner in our western Montana office in Missoula, MT and represents clients across the United States.
Ryan handles all types of civil litigation for the Firm. He has substantial experience representing clients in state courts, federal courts, and before administrative agencies. Ryan's clients include people who have been harmed by defective products and toxic substances, people whose civil rights have been violated, corporations in regulated industries, and corporate clients involved in business disputes.
Ryan is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice, and the Western Montana Bar Association. Ryan is also a frequent guest lecturer at the Missoula College's trial preparation class.
Ryan resides in Missoula, MT where he has served on the board of directors for several non-profit corporations and provides pro bono legal services for those that cannot afford legal counsel. Ryan received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Montana and graduated cum laude from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR.
