Sarah's legal career began long before she went to law school. Sarah has worked for a law firm in one capacity or another since she was an intern in high school. She then became a legal assistant, paralegal and ultimately an associate attorney since October, 2014. She began attending and assisting at trials in her teens, coming to understand the degree of preparation and attention to detail that marks her as a lawyer today.
In 2018, Sarah expanded her practice to include Divorce and Family Law as well as simple Estate Planning. For her outstanding work in the Medical Malpractice arena, she was recognized by the American Institute of Legal Advocates as a Rising Star in personal injury. Sarah is a fierce and loyal advocate for her clients. Her true passion lies in helping those who need it the most.
Today, Sarah's practice is primarily in serious personal injury, namely medical malpractice and other general casualty litigation. She is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy's trial school. Already in her young but distinguished career she has served as counsel of record and participated in trial and appellate court practice in several complex cases. The other part of her practice is devoted to helping people plan for the future in drafting Medical Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Last Wills and Testaments and Family Trusts. In connection with her Family Law practice, Sarah also handles divorce, division of assets and child custody.
On a more personal note, as a Mandeville-Louisiana native, Sarah was an outstanding athlete growing up, especially in women's soccer, culminating in her selection as a NCAAA Gatorade high school All American in 2004. She attended Mandeville High School and captained their team. Her competitive drive which was acquired from her years playing sports has translated well in her professional career. She enjoys history, politics and travel--having spent some of her time during her undergraduate at LSU in overseas study in Paris. Sarah is happily married to her Husband Chris, an accomplished CPA and they are the parents of two beautiful boys. Family is the most important and our business is family.
