Hendler Flores Law, PLLC

If I were to describe myself in twenty words or less, I’d say Trial Lawyer. Negotiator. Human Rights Advocate. Humanitarian. Animal-lover. Adventurer. CrossFit, diving, and cycling enthusiast. Committed to powering people to challenge injustice. Since launching my legal career in 1989, I’ve sought purpose in my life by devoting my skills as a trial lawyer to represent ordinary people against the powerful. I founded my law firm in 1993 as HendlerLaw. It’s now known as Hendler Flores Law, founded by my law partner Lulu Flores and me. I exclusively represent plaintiffs in Mesothelioma (asbestos-related cancer), toxic exposure, consumer fraud, and class action lawsuits, as well as in serious injury and wrongful death cases throughout the United States. I represent U.S. Citizens and foreign nationals injured or killed as a result of the corporate misconduct of American corporations at home and abroad, or foreign corporations that cause harm to people in this country. I collaborate with my clients to understand the struggles and challenges they face, and to help them navigate the legal system and help them realize their expectations from the legal system. I try to help my clients deal with the emotional, financial, and physical effects of their injuries and losses, and help them move forward with their lives. A primary way I do that is to help them tell their stories, because their stories matter. For me, being a lawyer is not so much a career as it is a calling. Outside of the office, I spend time supporting my community through involvement in various organizations along with my wife and law partner, Lulu Flores. I previously served as a Board Member and Vice President of the Rothko Chapel Board of Directors in Houston, Texas, for eight years. The Rothko Chapel is an International Human Rights organization founded around the principles of the Rothko Chapel itself to promote education and discourse in the area of human rights. I am a member of the Rotary Club of Austin and a Paul Harris Fellow. And I am active within the American Association of Justice and the American Bar Association. I also serve as a mentor to a young man I have mentored since he was 12—he is now 30. I live in Austin, Texas, with my wife and law partner Lulu Flores, who is also a Texas State Representative for District 51, and our two Tasmanian Devil Cats, James Bond 007 and Kiddie.
