Scott M. Kuboff, Esq. attended the University of Toledo where he earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 2004 and graduated cum laude and with College Honors. Scott then attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he was the President of the Student Bar Association, active in Moot Court, and earned the CALI Excellence for Future Award in First Amendment, the CALI Excellence for Future Award in Advanced Brief Writing, the Ulmer & Berne First Year Intrascholastic Moot Court Award, and the Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs Award for Best Brief in First Year Intramural Competition.
Following his graduation in 2007, Scott passed the Ohio bar exam and immediately began his practice with a prominent Cleveland criminal defense firm. He gained extensive courtroom, trial, and appellate experience advocating on behalf of his clients.
Now, Scott’s practice primarily focuses on representing injured individuals in wrongful death, automobile collision, bicycle collision, dental and medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, slip-and-fall, animal bites, and other personal injury claims.
Scott is a good-standing member of the Ohio and Pennsylvania bars and has been admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
From 2016 through 2022, Scott was selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for Ohio. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Ohio are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Scott is married and resides in Aurora, Ohio, with his wife, Teri, and his two sons. He is an avid cyclist and runner who has competed in numerous USAC races, multi-sport races, half-marathons, and recently completed his first ultramarathon.
