E. Scott Verhine has been a practicing attorney with Verhine & Verhine PLLC since 1997. Scott focuses his practice on representing clients injured by defective medical products. He has successfully represented countless individuals in mass torts claims arising from defective devices, including defective hip implants and transvaginal mesh implants.

His past cases have included managing nearly 600 individual lawsuits filed by users of fenfluramine / phentermine, also known as "fen-phen." From 2000 to 2011, Scott has successfully pursued fen-phen claims for more than 8,500 clients across the country. He has worked with more than 60 law firms throughout the United States. He has vast experience working with other premier law firms in the nation by assisting these firms in their pursuit of defective product claims for their clients.

Attorney Verhine's Recent Accomplishments

Currently, Scott is currently working claims for minors injured by JUUL vaping products, CPAP recall claims, Paraquat claims, Baby Formula claims causing necrotizing entercolitis and Camp Lejeune Water Contamination claims. 

Scott also pursues legal action against BP oil spill claims for businesses. He is actively involved on several committees reviewing dangerous drugs and medical device claims that are arising annually in the U.S. Scott is married to Cathi Verhine and has two beautiful children, Rett and Coleman.
