Sean Colston spent over 25 years serving as a prosecutor with the Tarrant and Dallas County Criminal District Attorney’s Offices in Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas. During his career as a prosecutor he worked in many different areas of law, including Family Violence, Juvenile, and Gang prosecution. Mr. Colston has prosecuted numerous capital and high-profile cases in Texas. He has over 200 jury trials and over 70 murder trials. Mr. Colston has appeared on several television shows including: The Queen Latifah Show, 48 Hours Mystery, Snapped, and Forensic Files. Mr. Colston has served as Chairman of the Criminal Law section of the Tarrant County Bar Association, and Chairman of a Grievance Panel for the Texas State Bar. He graduated with honors from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1993, and the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama in 1990. In addition to being a member of the Texas State Bar, Mr. Colston is also admitted to the Alabama State Bar.
