Seth Meyer is the Managing Partner of Meyer Law Firm PLC. He represents clients in arbitration and litigation at the trial and appellate levels and has handled cases on a broad array of subject matters, including antitrust, bankruptcy, contracts, class actions, fraud, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, product liability, securities, and unfair trade practices.
Before founding Meyer Law Firm, Seth was an attorney at Keller Postman LLC, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and Williams & Connolly LLP.
Seth was named to the 2022 Elite Trial Lawyers’ Rising Stars of the Plaintiffs’ Bar by The National Law Journal and as a 2021 Rising Star in Law by Crain’s Chicago Business. He is also listed on the National Trial Lawyers’ 40 Under 40, Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers, Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Stars, and was named a 2021 Lincoln Fellow by the Claremont Institute.
Seth is an adjunct professor at the Northwestern University Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences Center for Legal Studies, where he teaches a course on legal education and practice.
Seth served as a law clerk for Judge Richard F. Suhrheinrich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was elected to Order of the Coif and served as In Brief Editor on the Managing Board of the Virginia Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree in three years, summa cum laude, from Northwestern University where he played viola with the Northwestern University Philharmonia.
