Seth practices exclusively criminal defense and has focused on criminal defense practice for his entire legal career. Born and raised in Tennessee, Seth graduated from Bethel University in 2011 with a B.S. in Business Administration. In 2014, Seth obtained his J.D. from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. In Law School, Seth was the Managing Editor for the Mental Health Law & Policy Journal. In law school, he won CALI awards for Criminal Law and Tennessee Constitutional Law. Seth clerked for the Shelby County Criminal Court Judges throughout law school before leaving to enter private practice. From 2014-2017, Seth was an Associate at the Working Law Firm in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2017, he left private practice to work for the Office of the Shelby County Public Defender, where he worked in the Direct Representation Unit. Seth joined Massey McClusky in 2021. Seth has practiced in every criminal court in Shelby County and has litigated criminal matters across the State of Tennessee, including the Court of Criminal Appeals. Seth is passionate about defending the constitutional rights of his clients. His pro bono practice is limited exclusively to defending the constitutional rights of protestors for various causes.
