Attorney Stephanie M. Rock received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to attending law school, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Criminal Justice.
During her undergraduate program, Attorney Rock interned at a law firm. It was this experience that made her want to pursue a career in law. Throughout law school, Attorney Rock participated in several clinical programs including the Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Persons Project which assists Wisconsin inmates with post-conviction issues, the Federal Appeals Project, the Public Defender Project.
While her primary practice area is criminal defense, Attorney Rock also practices in the field of immigration. Her passion for immigration law was born out of her experience interning at the Community Immigration Law Center in Madison, Wisconsin. During that internship, she assisted in representing individuals who were in ICE custody throughout their deportation proceedings. Additionally, she volunteered for several years with the Know Your Rights Project.
Attorney Rock’s practical experiences prior to, during, and after law school is what makes her a passionate advocate for all individuals regardless of their background. She recognizes the importance of diversity within all communities and strives to make this known within her law practice.
