Mr. Rue is a highly-respected trial lawyer, author and lecturer. In addition to running Stephen Rue & Associates, he has taught at Loyola Law School, was Vice Chairman of the Civil Law and Litigation Section of the Louisiana Bar Association, and is a Fellow of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Stephen Rue’s Experience in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Cases
In his three decades of representing individuals injured or killed in car wrecks, truck collisions, bus accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, medical malpractice and toxic tort class actions, Stephen Rue has represented thousands of clients. Stephen Rue and his team of attorneys is proud to have successfully litigated and received numerous multi-million- dollar trial judgments and settlements. Every case is different, we cannot guarantee results and results do vary; but it is our goal to achieve your desired legal outcome. Stephen Rue has represented injured clients and family members of persons who were killed in what has become known as the “Mother’s Day Bus Crash” where 22 of 43 passengers died. Many more were severely injured. Stephen Rue has also a family who lost 5 members of their family who were killed in an extremely tragic Slidell car accident in 1999 which involved an off-duty sheriff’s deputy.
