Tara Lawrence has demonstrated her commitment to getting justice for victims since she graduated from law school. First graduating, with high honors (magna cum laude) from the University of Portland, Tara graduated from Willamette Law School and was admitted to practice before the Oregon Supreme Court in 1999.
She became one of the youngest-ever elected District Attorneys in Oregon, serving four years, before moving to Portland.
Tara's experience extends from family law, representing men and women in divorce proceedings, as well as modifications to child support and custody issues, to personal injury.Â
Tara has become well known in Oregon and Washington for her advocacy on behalf of victims. Her firm represents men, women and children who have been victims of physical and sexual abuse, workplace or school violence.Â
Tara has been recognized for her advocacy on behalf of victims and volunteers for the National Crime Victims Law Institute (NCVLI).
