Ms. Tran graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Foreign Languages. While at Colorado State University, she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Honor Society. She attended law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, she was active in the Student Bar Association and a member of the Student Senate. Ms. Tran was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law. She was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. During her second year, she was selected for a position in the Advanced Criminal Law Clinic.
During her career, she has perfected her trial skills by trying more than 50 criminal cases. She has handled thousands of cases with charges ranging from DUI to high profile first-degree murder cases. Throughout her career, she has been able to obtain positive results for clients on both misdemeanor and felony charges, including domestic violence, child abuse, theft, and drug possession/distribution. She has secured multiple not guilty verdicts in sexual assault cases, as well as cases involving crimes of violence. She has litigated numerous cases involving forensic evidence, including DNA, fingerprints, and gunshot residue. In addition, Ms. Tran has significant experience in litigation of cases involving expert witnesses.
