Timothy R. O’Reilly is a trial attorney and President of O’Reilly Law Group, where he concentrates his practice on high-stakes civil and commercial litigation. Tim has built a reputation as a tenacious advocate, having secured millions of dollars in judgments and settlements for his clients in a wide range of complex disputes—including catastrophic personal injury cases, business torts, and commercial contract matters.
While litigation is a central focus of Tim’s practice, his legal experience extends across multiple areas including real estate and business transactions, gaming law, and regulatory compliance. This broad foundation enhances his litigation strategy, allowing him to approach disputes with a comprehensive understanding of both the legal and business landscapes involved.
Tim’s trial experience spans both jury and bench trials, and his effectiveness in extensive motions practice has led to favorable rulings and resolutions in high-value and high-risk cases. His clients range from individuals and small businesses to corporations and professional athletes, whom he represents in both litigation and administrative proceedings throughout the State of Nevada.
Tim’s legal career is grounded in a strong foundation of public service and dedication to the legal profession. He worked in the Clark County District Attorney’s Criminal Appeals Division, where he drafted responsive briefs for cases before the Nevada Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court. He also served in the Nevada Attorney General’s Office at the Department of Transportation, assisting with eminent domain and condemnation litigation. During law school, Tim completed judicial externships for Chief Justice William A. Maupin of the Nevada Supreme Court and Chief Judge Lee Gates of the Clark County District Court, and clerked in the DUI Division of the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, where he prepared for and attended grand jury hearings.
In addition to his legal practice, Tim is a founding board member and current director of Lexicon Bank, a Las Vegas-based financial institution committed to relationship banking and community-focused service. He also contributes to the legal profession as a mentor in the State Bar of Nevada’s Transitioning into Practice (TIP) Program, guiding newly admitted attorneys through their early careers.
