Tristan Johnson grew up in Topeka, Kansas and played baseball at Allen County Community College where he was a baseball academic all-American. Following Allen County, Tristan got his Bachelors in Legal Studies at Washburn University and then continued his education at Washburn University School of Law where he graduated in 2022. During his time in law school, Tristan gained valuable trial experience as a prosecuting intern at the District Attorney’s Office, and he then took part in the Washburn Litigation Law Clinic, where he represented the rights of those would have otherwise been unable to afford representation.
After graduation, Tristan practiced criminal defense prior to joining DeVaughn James. His experience as a criminal defense attorney provided him with insight into the emotional, financial, and physical tolls that people go through during a legal battle. Drawing on this experience, Tristan is able to combine his legal skills and genuine compassion when representing his clients. He is dedicated to providing personal injury victims with the support and compassion they need while advocating for them and ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve.
Outside of the office and the courtroom, Tristan loves spending time with his wife and dog. He also enjoys being around his friends and family, and the occasional golf outing.
