Tyson C. Stokes believes that everyone deserves their day in court to prosecute or defend what values most to them. Tyson will explain the law to you, express his opinion, and go over options on how to best position your case to get what is most important to you. Sometimes the best option is to go to trial, and sometimes the best option is an out of court settlement, but Tyson will always leave this decision up to the client. Tyson ensures that his clients fully understand every decision they make, so that they can make informed and educated decisions.
Tyson’s legal career started by working as a judicial law clerk for both the San Francisco Superior Court in California and the First District Court in Utah. After Tyson’s clerkships, he worked for a general practice law firm that gave him experience in a variety of areas, including family law, criminal defense, estate planning, landlord tenant, and personal injury. After general practice, Tyson exclusively practiced in the area of family law at Cordell and Cordell, one of the nation’s largest family law firms. Tyson feels privileged to be a part of Kaufman, Nichols, & Kaufman, one of Ogden’s most respected law firms.
