Attorney Virginia Josey brings a strong blend of academic achievement, leadership experience, and hands-on trial work to her practice.
She graduated with honors from Georgia Southern University and earned additional distinctions at Mercer University School of Law, where she served as Honor Court Justice, President of the Advocacy Council, and received the James C. Estes Moot Court Award and the Order of the Barristers.
Virginia remains committed to legal education and service. Her professional involvement includes leadership roles such as President of the Middle Georgia Women Lawyers Association, President of the Macon Young Lawyers Association, and co-editor of the YLD Review. She has completed leadership programs including the GDLA Trial & Mediation Academy, the YLD Leadership Academy, and the GTLA LEAD Program. She also serves on the Georgia Southern Alumni Board of Directors and currently serves as Treasurer of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.
Before opening her practice, Virginia worked as a criminal prosecutor, focusing on crimes against children and women, and later represented insurance companies and local governments. These experiences give her a strong understanding of how cases are built, evaluated, and resolved from multiple perspectives.
Outside the office, Virginia values time with her husband, Jordan, and their young son. Becoming a mother has brought deeper perspective to her work and strengthened her commitment to the families she serves. She enjoys baking, live music, and traveling with her family.
