Mr. Kolb's legal career spans over 30 years, and includes service as the Solicitor for the Third Judicial Circuit (elected chief prosecutor for Sumter, Clarendon, Lee and Williamsburg Counties, South Carolina).
Criminal Defense in State and Federal Court, serious felonies, drug cases, driving under the influence (DUI) and other traffic offenses, and Civil Plaintiff's practice including personal injury, wrongful death, and serious motor vehicle accidents.
Wade S. Kolb, Jr. established the firm in 1998 after a 15 year career as the four-time elected Solicitor (chief criminal prosecutor) for Sumter, Clarendon, Lee and Williamsburg counties (Third Judicial Circuit).
As Solicitor, he personally prosecuted thousands of criminal cases and supervised a staff of thirty employees, including eleven assistant solicitors.
Mr. Kolb is a 1974 graduate of the University of South Carolina Law School (JD), and a 1971 graduate of the University of South Carolina (BS in Business Administration).
He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of South Carolina and the US District Court, District of South Carolina.
A lifelong resident of Sumter County, Mr. Kolb is active in numerous legal and community organizations, including the Sumter Rotary Club, Sumter-Shaw Community Council, and the Sumter Chamber of Commerce, of which he served as Chair of the Board of Directors from 2008-2009.
