Through his years of experience, Mr. Kubota has developed extensive knowledge and experience in the area of trial practice, litigation, and case evaluation.
In 2011, Mr. Kubota served as President of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA the local trial lawyer association). From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Kubota has served on the Board of Directors of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC the statewide trial lawyer association) which works with our state legislators to protect the rights of consumers.
Mr. Kubota has also served as a Board of Directors for the Banyard Inn of Court and is a Master Bencher.
In 2006, Mr. Kubota was invited and became a member of the American Board Of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) reaching the rank of associate. In 2017, Mr. Kubota was nominated as Parliamentarian to the Board of Director of the American Board Of Trial Advocates’ Orange County, California Chapter.
Mr. Kubota has received the Consumer Attorneys of California Presidential Award of Merit in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. These awards represent the Special recognition for his leadership, commitment and dedication to the advocacy of consumer protection.
Mr. Kubota has also been acknowledged as a Southern California Super Lawyer since 2010. He has also received recognition in the Los Angeles Magazine as the Top Attorneys in Southern California for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. It also been recognized in the Orange Coast Magazine Top Attorneys in Orange County for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

In 2012, Mr. Kubota was inducted into the Western State College of Law Hall of Fame. This recognition represented an exemplary career and outstanding community and professional service throughout the legal community of Southern California.
Mr. Kubota is also a member of the American Association of Justice, Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Asian American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Foundation Society of Fellows, and the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.
Mr. Kubota is a frequent guest lecturer at Western State College of Law, Chapman University College of Law, and has lectured for the National Business Institute, the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of the Inland Empire, Orange County Bar Association, Sacramento Trial Lawyers Association, and the Consumer Attorneys Of California. He has lectured on such subjects as ethics and trial practice. Mr. Kubota has also authored may articles including such areas as premises liability and trial practice skills.
Mr. Kubota has received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Riverside in political science. Received his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in 1994. He is admitted to practice law in the State of California and is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court of the Southern District of California, Central District of California and Northern District of California.
