Born and raised in Sumner County, Tennessee, Tyler understands and relates to the people of this county. A 2011 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and a 2016 graduate of Nashville School of Law, Tyler has a love of helping those in need and has a deep understanding of the legal process. Seeing his mother practice law for many years made the decision to become an attorney an easy one. Through watching her practice, he developed a love of helping those who are in need. Licensed in 2017 in the state of Tennessee, he was named Top 10 under 40 in the state of Tennessee by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys in 2020, and again in 2021 and 2022. Tyler has been a strong advocate for Recovery Court, helping individuals with addictions and drug charges get their lives on track (and also celebrating their successes in sobriety with them), and serves as Treasurer of Mental Health Court.

During his free time, Tyler and his spouse breed and show Western Pleasure Quarter Horses and Registered Black Angus cattle on their farm in Bethpage, Tennessee.Â
