uhammad S. Aziz of the Houston law firm Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend has been selected to the 2015 list of the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (NADC).

He is a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Attorneys.

This organization is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. Its mission is to objectively recognize attorneys who elevate the standards of the bar and provide a benchmark for other lawyers to emulate.

Members are vetted by a research team, selected by a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys with podium status from independently neutral organizations, and approved by a judicial review board as exhibiting virtue in the practice of law. Due to the selectivity of the appointment process, only the top 1 percent of attorneys in the United States are awarded membership in the NADC. This elite class of advocates consists of the finest leaders in the legal profession from across the nation.

In addition to being included in the top 1 percent of attorneys by the NADC, Aziz has also been selected for inclusion on the Texas Super Lawyers list since 2013 and was previously selected for inclusion on the Texas Rising Stars list from 2008 to 2013. He has been recognized as one of the Top 40 Texas Attorneys Under 40 since 2012. He has also been recognized locally by Houstonia Magazine and H Texas Magazine, appearing on those publications’ top lawyers lists.

Aziz has been certified in personal injury law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2012. He handles litigation involving complex topics such as product liability, passenger bus or truck accidents, explosions, catastrophic injuries, and death.

He can be reached at 713-222-7211.
