(Houston, Texas) – Brant Stogner, personal injury attorney and Partner at the Houston law office of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend, has been selected for the 2016 Nation's Top One Percent list by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (NADC). This is the second time he has been recognized by the NADC.
He is also a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Attorneys.
The NADC recognizes attorneys who promote the highest standards of legal excellence and provide a benchmark of accomplishments for other attorneys. Candidates are chosen through a rigorous selection process after being nominated by peers or identified by a team of trained researchers. Next, a thorough review process takes place during which each candidate’s credentials are carefully reviewed. Then candidates are vetted by a panel of attorneys. Finalists are approved by a judicial review board. The result is a small pool of attorneys who have earned designation as the Nation’s Top One Percent of lawyers.
Mr. Stogner has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career. He was named to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star list between 2011 and 2013 and has been named to the Texas Super Lawyers list annually since 2013. H Texas Magazine and Houstonia Magazine continue to recognize Mr. Stogner on their annual top lawyers lists. He has been recognized as one of the Top 40 Texas Attorneys Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers since 2014. Mr. Stogner was the youngest of nine attorneys in the Houston area invited to join the Houston chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2015.
In 2011, Mr. Stogner was board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law, after only five years practicing law. This is the soonest that an attorney can become board-certified in Texas. He represents clients in catastrophic personal injury matters, product defect cases, commercial business disputes, and first-party insurance bad faith claims.
