A 1985 graduate from Ohio Wesleyan University, Mr. van der Veen attended Quinnipiac University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1988. He continued his study of the law, first at the National Criminal Defense College and second, at Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he earned a Master of Laws in 1995 with highest honors.
