A Mobile County jury has awarded a Saraland man $1.8 million for injuries and damages he sustained as a result of a crash with a Pizza Hut delivery vehicle in June 2021, according to court documents.

Robert Lindley, 39, suffered massive injuries to his left femur in the wreck, which occurred at the intersection of Highway 43 and East Plateau Avenue in Saraland.

Lindley’s attorneys, Britt Bethea and David Greene, successfully argued that the delivery driver, Tristan Sims, failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of Lindley’s motorcycle, causing the crash. Lindley was seeking damages for his injuries, as well as loss of wages and mental anguish, court documents show.
