As 2025 comes to a close, one thing is clear: this was a year defined by community, collaboration, and extraordinary momentum across the National Trial Lawyers network. Our members strengthened relationships, expanded referral partnerships, sharpened their craft, and elevated the plaintiff bar through an unforgettable series of NTL Events that brought thousands together with a shared purpose — to learn, to grow, and to win.
The year began with our flagship event, the Trial Lawyers Summit in Miami, where attorneys from across the country gathered for a week of powerful education and connection. With 125+ speakers, 90 vendors, and 24 CLE hours, the Summit delivered fresh strategies across every major practice area while fostering the type of high-value networking that has become its signature. For many, Miami set the tone for a year filled with renewed energy, new partnerships, and new possibilities.
In April, the momentum continued at TBI Med Legal 2025 in San Diego. With more than 100 expert speakers, immersive workshops, and four fully built-out tracks, the conference provided rare depth into the science, medicine, and litigation strategies that drive brain injury cases forward. Attendees described the event as transformational, the kind of experience where a single session or new relationship can elevate case value or redefine a practice.
Summer brought the return of Lanier Trial Academy 9.0, where Mark Lanier once again delivered an exceptional, nearly all-new program filled with practical courtroom insights and forward-thinking strategy. Renowned for his ability to blend storytelling, persuasion, and modern legal technique, Mark guided attendees through advanced trial skills and cutting-edge concepts that continue to shape the future of advocacy. With the Academy's landmark 10th year anniversary approaching in June 2026, anticipation is already building for what promises to be a milestone year.
Soon after, trial lawyers convened in Chicago for the Big Truck & Auto Summit, a high-impact event focused on litigation strategies, case value maximization, and collaboration in trucking and auto cases. With powerhouse instructors and intimate networking opportunities, the Big Truck and Auto Summit empowered attendees to refine their approach and build relationships that continue long after the conference doors closed.
As fall approached, Law-Di-Gras lit up San Diego with its signature blend of strategy, innovation, and festival-level entertainment. Once again, Law-Di-Gras proved why it has become a movement of its own. By day, attendees immersed themselves in hands-on learning and curated mini-tracks; by night, the Rancho Bernardo Inn came alive with Law-Di-Jam concerts, capped by an unforgettable headlining performance from Diplo, which turned the conference grounds into a full festival experience. It was The Network Effect in its purest form: education, collaboration, and celebration woven together into something truly extraordinary.
The year closed in Scottsdale with the Business of Law Conference, where firm owners and legal leaders explored the future of profitability, leadership, AI, operations, acquisitions, and firm structure. With a full-day ABS program, high-level strategy sessions, and curated networking events, this event provided attendees with clarity and a roadmap for building smarter and scaling faster.
Together, NTL Events formed a yearlong arc of growth and connection, a testament to the strength and generosity of the NTL community. Every handshake, every shared insight, every partnership formed in 2025 helped move the plaintiff bar forward.
And now, the momentum carries us into 2026.
In January, much of our community will gather in Miami for the 2026 Trial Lawyers Summit, taking place January 25–28, at the Loews Miami Beach, followed by the return of TBI Med Legal in March and the Texas Lawyer Rumble in April. Together, these cornerstone events continue to energize our community, offering fresh inspiration, deeper collaboration, and the kind of forward-thinking education that shapes the future of trial advocacy.
Connect. Collaborate. Grow.
The movement continues in 2026 — will you be there?
