Dear fellow members of the National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40,
I’m really excited to step into this role as President of the National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40. This group is full of motivated, sharp, and hardworking lawyers who genuinely want to get better at what they do and zealously represent their clients. Being able to lead a community like this—one that’s shaping the future of our profession—is something I’m truly grateful for.
One thing I’ve learned throughout my career is that the biggest growth doesn’t happen alone. It comes from the people you meet, the conversations you have, and the connections you build. The relationships I’ve formed in this field have pushed me, taught me, and opened doors I didn’t even know existed. I want all of you to have those same opportunities—to meet people who challenge you, support you, and help you level up. This organization, I'm hopeful, will do that.
So take advantage of what this organization offers. Come to the events and conferences. Jump into the workshops and CLEs. Talk to people you don’t know yet. These moments can change the direction of your career more than you might expect. You have every tool you need—you just have to put them to work.
I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how each of you grow this year. I’m here to support you, to connect you, and to help create a space where we all thrive together. Let’s make this year one where we collaborate more, push ourselves further, and celebrate some big wins along the way.
